Boomer Legacy?
Pulled this from the comment section of an article at @businessinsider:
“Boomers have controlled the presidency since 1993 and have been the majority in Congress since 1999. Since 1999 the federal debt has increased almost $10 trillion.”
All true.
Success in a choice.
That does not mean that success is always a guarantee. However, success is not an accident or mistake.
So many institutions, efforts and institutions fail to recognize this fact. Success cannot be forced upon a population, or a voting block, or a team.
Or even a school or classroom.
Students must make the choice to succeed. Their parents must make the same choice, as do teachers.

Couple thoughts on Duke Power →
1.) I wonder if they can make the financial case that the cost to the consumer for their “cleanest” coal plant is less than the incremental benefit of taking this next step in pollution reduction. I’ll believe it when I see it when it comes to their claim that operating costs will be less.
2.) I wonder if they would be happy to have back the hundreds of millions they’ve...
